Wow! Time flies by so quickly!!! Let's see... This past month we have had Ben, Laura, Chuck, Tricia, Papa, Barbara, Roger, Diane, Katie, Cathie, and Missy all either come in town and stay at our house or at my mother's house to visit sweet Gracie. Along with all the visitors, we have had Grace's baptism and luncheon.
Milestones:
1. Holds her head up quite well and will lay on her stomach and does just fine. She even will pick her head up and turn it if she wants.
2. Drinks 4 to 4 1/2 oz. every 4 to 5 hours
3. Loves to sit in the Boppy and watch the room around her

The best Christmas Gifts
Little did I know that other than my sweet precious daughter and getting engaged to my husband close to christmas that the best christmas gift ever was hearing my doctor say that I could do the following on christmas day:
1. Take a bath again! Not that I don't shower now, but I can't wait for my bubble baths again!
2. DRIVE-- it's been several months since I could drive due to bed rest and then the C-Section
3. Pick up my daughter in her car seat! YEAH, I can finally get out of the house, run errands, and take her with me!!!!!

When the doorbell falls off...
Well, they told us it would be about 2 weeks before the umbilical stump fell and today marked that wonderful occasion! Rishi Roy stopped by today and spent a few hours with Gracie along with another dear friend Emily Richards. Emily baked us some Pumkin Bread that is to die for and brought Gracie a precious frog lovie! Thanks you two!

Meeting Dr. Freeman
Today was Gracie's 2 week old check-up and very first visit to the doctor. It was crazy to be sitting in the same office I went to as a child and most of all visiting the same doctor! Dr. Freeman however is the greatest! He is so easy going and fun, if a doctor can be fun. =-)
Gracie is 8.4 and 20 inches long now! My goodness time flies by. Dr. Freeman said she will grow an ounce a day and about 1 pound every 2 weeks.
Anyway, here's a bio on her doctor and the website of the doctor's office:

Dr. Freeman joined the Children’s Medical Group in 1975. Dr. Freeman graduated from Millsaps College in 1968 and then received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1972. He then obtained his Pediatric training at the University of Mississippi Children’s Hospital in Jackson. Dr. Freeman is active in the local medical societies. He is married with children and enjoys farming in his spare time.
